St. Mary’s General Hospital (SMGH), in Kitchener, is the second-largest acute care hospital in the St. Joseph’s Health System and one of Canada’s top Regional Cardiac Care Centres. St. Joseph’s Home Care (SJHC) tailors home care programs to meet the needs of each individual client. They serve a wide variety of clients with diverse cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Services include a number of home support programs; assisted living in supportive housings, and Neighbourhood Model for Seniors at Risk; as well as retirement living and respite care in partnership with CityHousing Hamilton.

SJHC has a dedicated staff of approximately 350 employees and provide community home care services for the Hamilton-Niagara and Haldimand-Brant area.
