St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton
St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH) delivers high-quality, evidence based, compassionate care to patients in Hamilton-Niagara-Haldimand-Brant and beyond. SJHH is a leading academic health science and research centre. Home to more than 5,000 staff, 700 physicians and 1000 volunteers, St. Joe’s is a multi-site, regional, tertiary centre, renowned for its strength in respiratory care, kidney and urinary care, mental health and addictions, surgical services, cancer surgery and women’s and infants’ care. SJHH’s emergency department sees more than 50,000 patients a year.

St. Mary’s General Hospital (SMGH), in Kitchener, is the second-largest acute care hospital in the St. Joseph’s Health System and one of Canada’s top Regional Cardiac Care Centres. Nearly 2,000 staff, physicians and volunteers provide innovative, compassionate care to approximately one million residents of Waterloo Wellington and beyond.
